Bountiful Acres' featured garden entitled "Somewhere Else," depicts how a beautiful landscape setting can become one's sanctuary, a place disconnected from the everyday, a place where one's problems disappear.
We created a garden room so rich in atmosphere and style that it affords the visitor an escape, to be "somewhere else." At its center, a reflective pool is fed by a waterfall originating above a planter wall.
Glowing colored lights illuminate the outline of the waters. Architectural elements, such as lattice panels, benches, columns, urns, and statuaries, combine with the rich jewel tone colors of plantings to create simple lines unifying plants and structure. The solidity of this garden offers the visitor a place of renewal, reflection and serenity. The visitor discovers introspection, calm and relaxation in this unexpected sojourn.
